Just half a mile down the track from Higher Croasdale Farmhouse, this traditional stone built, detached farmhouse is set in a beautiful secluded location. Offering panoramic countryside views, this charming retreat is full of character, with old beams, a fabulous stone floor and staircase, a lovely woodburning stove in a magnificent feature fireplace and a delightful patio area overlooking a wooded dale and babbling brook.
Enjoy walks across the moors or take on the famous Three Peaks challenge. With Settle, Ingleton and Kirkby Lonsdale within easy reach, and the surrounding Dales and Lake District within touring distance, this is an ideal base for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Accommodation
Ground floor: entrance hall with stone staircase, spacious
south-facing living room with woodburning stove, farmhouse dining
kitchen, utility room, cloakroom with shower, basin and toilet,
small sitting room with TV.
First floor: four bedrooms (one king size with en-suite shower room with basin and toilet, one double and two twins), family bathroom with bath, basin, toilet and heated towel rails.

Full oil-fired central heating with solid fuel stove in lounge. Electricity and initial supply of logs included in rent. Microwave,
fridge/freezer, dishwasher, automatic washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. Two
colour TVs, video & DVD. Bed linen and towels are provided. Cot
and high chair by request. Private patio with furniture, BBQ and garden.
Garage and storage. Ample parking. One small well-behaved pet welcome.

Directions
From the centre of High Bentham, by the HSBC Bank and the Black
Bull Inn, turn south on Station Road, signposted to Slaidburn. Follow
this road for 1½ miles as it climbs upwards, crossing a cattle
grid onto the moor. After crossing the cattle grid, continue towards
Slaidburn for a further mile, passing the Great Stone tourist feature
to the right, and ignoring two right turns signposted Wray/Lowgill.
One mile from the cattle grid, the private Petersbottom Lane (signed
Croasdale Grains) is the only gravel track to the left. Proceed
with care along Petersbottom Lane, ignoring a left turn to the lunch
hut, and crossing a cattle grid before reaching the two dwellings
at Higher Croasdales. Please close any gates which you may have
to open.
